Armin and Megan met in the summer of 2013 while interning for the GACC campus ministry and married in May 2015. They have served on staff with the GACC since 2014 and began leading the church in December 2024. Armin was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received his B.A. and M.A. in Public Health from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Spiritual Formation from Mountain Theological Seminary. Megan is originally from Southern California. She received her B.A. in English Education from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is also pursuing a M.A. from Mountain Theological. They have three beautiful children: Keon, Sienna, and Eden.
Karen is a retired RN who has selflessly devoted her retirement to serving God as a volunteer on our staff. She has been a Christian for over 40 years and blesses our congregation with a wealth of spiritual wisdom. She oversees our Titus 2 Women’s Ministry, serves on the board, and assists with the administrative needs of the church. Karen has two adult daughters who are both Christians in our fellowship.
Cameron Calhoun
Cameron was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and became a disciple in 2021 with the Alpha Omega Campus Ministry. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2023 and began serving as an intern with the college ministry. In 2024 he married Brooke Calhoun and shortly after began leading the campus ministry full time.
Makena Halen
Makena is from the Seattle area and moved to New Mexico for college in 2019. She was baptized in the Alpha Omega Campus Ministry in 2020. Makena graduated in 2022 with a B.A. in Geology and began serving as an intern. In 2024 she began leading the campus ministry full time alongside Cameron.
